An excellent opportunity has arisen for the position of Assistant Greenkeeper as part of a team of Greenkeepers at Middlesbrough Golf Club, an 18 hole James Braid designed parkland golf course founded in 1908.

Members club with large visiting parties
Located 5 miles south of Middlesbrough town centre

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes

• NVQ L2 in sports turf
• Minimum 2 years previous greenkeeping experience
• Have an excellent eye for detail
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
• Complete tasks in line with health and safety regulations
• Full clean UK driving licence

Be flexible and work some weekends as part of an overtime rota

Desirable but not essential

• PA 1,2&6 spraying certificates
• Chainsaw certificates
• Basic machinery maintenance skills
